Soccer - Junior Varsity Girls’
Westminster’s Junior Varsity Girls’ Soccer team has recently enjoyed a great deal of success, going 34-12-7 over the last four seasons. This impressive record was achieved by players both youthful and experienced, and the success of the team derives from an emphasis on technical ability, possession of the ball, and developing sophistication in reading the game.The goal each year is to provide an experience that serves players both with and without aspirations to play on the varsity team. We emphasize teamwork, trust in each other, and — most importantly — having fun.
The Martlets play home games on one of the many fine fields that comprise Westminster’s 35 acres of playing fields in beautiful Simsbury.
