Growing Through Grit & Grace

Founded in 1888, Westminster School has long inspired students to challenge themselves, discover their passions, and reach beyond the ordinary. A rigorous academic program, exceptional arts and athletics, and a vibrant residential community come together to help students strengthen their grit, practice grace, and gain the confidence, character, and sense of purpose to lead lives of achievement and service.

On Williams Hill, students are surrounded by adults and peers who believe in them, challenge them, and celebrate their successes. In classrooms, on stages and playing fields, around family-style lunch tables, and in the dorms, they are encouraged to explore new opportunities, develop confidence, and discover who they are becoming.

Westminster is a community where relationships matter. We greet one another on the pathways, hold doors open, share meals, and practice generosity, respect, and kindness in our daily lives. Through these everyday interactions, students strengthen their grit by embracing challenges with resilience and determination while learning grace through humility, empathy, and service to others. It is this balance that shapes not only what our students accomplish, but who they become.

That shared commitment to one another defines life on Williams Hill. We value excellence and compassion in equal measure, preparing students to leave campus with the knowledge, character, and confidence to thrive in college and lead lives of purpose, achievement, and service.

I invite you to visit campus and experience Westminster for yourself. I look forward to welcoming you to this remarkable community.
