Dining at Westminster Bringing the Community Together
Dining together is an essential part of community life at Westminster. Formal meals and “feeds”—where students and faculty come together to socialize and eat—strengthen the sense of community that defines life on Williams Hill. The heart of community dining is Armstrong Dining Hall, designed by Graham Gund ’59, a beautiful space where students, faculty, and staff gather throughout every day.
Family-Style Lunch
One of Westminster’s long-standing traditions is family-style dining. Multiple times each week, students and faculty gather for lunch around shared tables for conversation and connection. Students are assigned to a different faculty-hosted table each week. These meals foster community by encouraging conversation with classmates from different forms, backgrounds, and interests, and helping students to develop confidence and hone social skills.
