  • Soccer - Varsity Boys’

Varsity Boys’ Soccer has been known for its controlled style of play and perennial competitiveness, frequently earning ranking among the top 20 teams in New England. The Varsity team competes annually for the Founders League title, playing a 18-game schedule against Founders League opponents and other local independent prep schools. The team also competes in a major collegiate showcase tournament early in the season. The team has enjoyed trips overseas to England, Scotland, Spain, and Portugal for preseason training.

The Martlets play home games on one of the many fine fields that comprise Westminster’s 35 acres of playing fields, as well as on Hovey Field, a synthetic turf field with lights — one of the most beautiful facilities in New England.

Westminster’s Soccer program has a strong track record of nurturing players who go on to participate at both the Division I and the Division III levels at schools such as Bowdoin, Colby, Colgate, Holy Cross, Maryland, Middlebury, Trinity, Denison, and Yale.
