2025 - 2026Head Coach: Greg MarcoWith the arrival of Westminster’s Varsity Girls' Golf in 2016, the Martlets program is quickly emerging with excitement and promise. Following the team's core tenets of developing a love for the game, working hard and improving every day, and enjoying the spirit of competition, the girls gladly embrace the challenges inherent with the team's aspirations.The Martlets home course is Hop Meadow Country Club in Simsbury, a challenging Geoffrey Cornish-designed track that provides a great venue for both practice and play. In addition to working closely with the Westminster coaches, all players receive lessons throughout the year from Hop Meadow’s PGA teaching professional, Ken Doyle, who is widely considered one of the best swing development professionals in the country.The team plays against competitive opponents in both the Founders League and among other Western New England secondary schools, and the girls participate at the conclusion of the season in the Founders League Championship and the Pippy O’Connor New England Championship, an event that gathers all of the best teams in New England to celebrate girls’ golf and to compete at the highest level.
