Westminster Battles to a 2-1 Victory Over Trinity-Pawling

Westminster Battles to a 2-1 Victory Over Trinity-Pawling

The Westminster Martlets traveled to New York and came away with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over a tough Trinity-Pawling squad. Manny Cazeau ’28 opened the scoring for Westminster, while Gray Berthiume ’29 delivered the game-winner to secure all three points for the Martlets.

It wasn’t Westminster’s best performance, but the team found a way to get the job done on the road. As the saying goes, good teams find ways to win, even when things aren’t clicking.

The Martlets now face a quick turnaround as they prepare for Friday night’s showdown against AOF.

Westminster will need to raise its level of play and deliver a much sharper performance to be ready for the challenge ahead. The result is in the books, but the focus quickly shifts to Friday night.
