Martlets Run Hard in Quad Meet
Despite being hampered by illness and injury, the Martlet Women showed up to Williston ready to race and compete hard! 14 martlets stepped up to the line for the starting gun, and 10 of them made it to the finish line in a seasonal best time. Led once again by Sofia Lazor (’27), Saleha Rahimi (’27) and Sofia Eleuteri (’28), all of who ran seasonal best times, Suri Dong (’28), Abigail Graham (’27), Mandy Jia (’30), Charlotte Jin (’27), Bianca Michon (’30), Zainab Mohammady (’27), and Taylor O’Connell (’29) all put up their fastest performances of the season. Despite close losses to both Williston and KO, it is clear the martlets hard work is paying off as their performances continue to improve! Next week, the Martlets head to Suffield where they will face both Berkshire and Suffield and look to come away with a pair of wins.
