Another big win

Frantz Batoh
We did it again!
The Martlets showed from the opening whistle that they were ready to take control of the game. The boys dominated possession and controlled the flow, although at times they played a little too slowly, matching the pace of their opponents. Arda Senecal ‘30, however, brought a different level of energy, making quick runs with the ball down the right wing and consistently creating opportunities while pushing the attack forward. It didn’t take long for Hudson O’Hanlon ‘28 and Hunter Grace ‘27 to find the back of the net, giving the Martlets an early 2 - 0 lead. With the game firmly under their control, the boys occasionally slowed the pace, but they continued to maintain possession and command of the field.

In the second half, the boys were even more in sync and played with greater confidence and connection. Even with limited competition, the team stayed engaged and continued to move the ball well. Hunter ‘27 and Hudson ‘28 were an excellent attacking duo, creating numerous opportunities and keeping the pressure on the opposition. Hudson ‘28 added two more goals in the second half, securing a convincing 4 - 0 victory for the Martlets. It is great to see the boys continuing to build momentum and put together a strong winning streak over the past few games.

The Grit and Grace Award goes to Arda Senecal ‘30 for his relentless effort from start to finish. His tireless runs around the field stood out throughout the game, regardless of the comfortable scoreline. Arda ‘30 played with the intensity of someone trying to fight his way back into a game we were losing, constantly pushing forward and working hard for the team. His energy, effort, and determination were a great example of the grit and commitment we want to see from the Martlets.
