Martlets Fall to Wild Boars

The Martlets hosted Choate on a nice Monday afternoon. The girls enjoyed an extended warm-up while our guests were making their way through traffic to arrive in our gym. Although Choate is a seasoned team with competitive players, the Martlets kept their energy up and battled through three sets. Arielle Anderson ‘28 had some great hits, Sanah Chhabra ‘28 braved strong hits in the back row, Ainslee Deptula ‘28 covered the blocks well and scored off some sneaky short passes. The energy was reinvigorated at the end as Charlie Evanko ‘29 helped a double block and then served well to keep the game going.

Our Grit and Grace player of the match is Ainslee Deptula ‘28 for her hustle and continued efforts to cover the blocks.
