Martlets Defeat Suffield
The martlets traveled the short run to Suffield today on a beautiful fall afternoon. The teams were slightly mismatched, and Helen Kennedy ‘27 and Abby Desson ‘28 scored in the first quarter. Effie Nikeas ‘30 and Sawyer (The Warrior) Perillo ‘30 both added to the tally before Suffield scored a beautiful goal from a corner to finish the game. It should be noted that Adele Russell ‘29 had a phenomenal game snuffing out the Suffield attacks down their left side. This was a strong performance on the day after long weekend – normally a day when the team finds it hard to focus after a few days at home.
