It Could Have Been Different

In a low-scoring contest, Westminster’s offense was made stagnate by strong goal tending from TP. The Martlets out shot TP by a heavy margin, but it was TP that would maintain a lead throughout the game. Westminster played an even, balanced game, and maintained composure in the face of disappointment. Defense was gritty, and the ground ball game went to the Martlets. A few more well-placed shots and this game would have been very different. Avon returns on Wednesday for a second match up.
