Stellar Goaltending

Down 4-1 at halftime, the Martlets exhibited a little gumption and perseverance at Avon on April 14. The second half was a different contest than the first, and with a few more consistent passes and stable clears, the outcome may have been very different. Westminster executed on a few man up situations, and capitalized on some unsettled transitions. Avon was tough at the face off, though the defense was able to hold Avon off in transition in many cases. Defense was much improved in this game, and goaltending was stellar. Alex Londal ‘17 and Kyle Forsyth ‘17 have been excellent so far this season. Scoring came from a variety of players, and the team approach worked to the Martlets benefit. Taft is up next.
