Nine Martlets score in Second Girls' Lacrosse win over Kent

On another gorgeous spring afternoon, the Second Girls' Lacrosse team played a fast, uptempo game against the Lions of Kent. Abby Newman '16 won the first draw and quickly dished the ball to Lily Farriss '19 who buried it in the back of the net in the first fifteen seconds of the game. Kent netted one less than two minutes later and then the Martlets started contesting every ball in the midfield to stop the Lions' momentum. Nine different Martlets scored goals on Saturday and the defense was quick to double-team any Kent players with the ball. The Martlets hope to continue their strong play as they face the Rhinos of Taft on Wednesday
