Third Boys' Hockey lose OT thriller 3-2

Westminster's Third Boys' Hockey squad faced a talented and disciplined Rumsey Hall team on Wednesday afternoon. Jake Szykowny '16 hit a short-handed goal near the end of the second period, and Brendan Jacobs '16 scored with less than 10 minutes left in the third, but the Martlets put themselves at a disadvantage by taking a number of penalties that resulted in three successful power plays on the part of the visiting Blue Dogs. All three of Rumsey's goals came on the power play, the last of which came as the buzzer for the end of overtime sounded. Westminster will need to regain its composure as it heads into the final game before the winter break.
