Martlets Win In Double OT

Mark Ellis '13 took a feed from Brian Smyth '16 (4,1) at 2:14 into the second OT and scored the game-winner as Westminster stopped a late game rally by host Kent for a nice Founders' League victory.  Westminster led 10-7 with 2:05 to play when the game was delayed for a hour by lightning.  Kent came out and scored on 3 straight shots to tie with 13 seconds to play.  Jamie Moross '14 controlled the FO, however, and gave the Martlets the chance to win.  Pierce Cote '14 had a terrific game at close D while Danny O'Connell '13 went 1 and 5 for the attack. Westminster moves to 8-5 on the year.
