Martlets Hold Off T-P In OT

Brian Smyth '16 (game ball) scored his second goal of the day 92 seconds into OT as the Martlets held off a late T-P comeback to earn their second Division 1 win on the season.  Henry Anderson '14 made 10 saves (and had 1 assist) against a strong shooting opponent, Sam Dardani '14 scored 4 times, 3 from Danny O'Connell '13, while Tristan Rai '14 added 3 goals in another end to end battle at Hovey Field.  Vinny Gisonti '13 played tough at the FO, grabbing 4 GBs to help earn the victory.  T-P led 6-4 at the half having scored with just 3 seconds on the clock to take all the momentum into the break.  Westminster countered, however, with 3 goals in the first 4 minutes of the third quarter to take the lead, one that held until T-P tied it at 8 with 22 seconds remaining.
