Active Martlets Deny Tigers

The Martlets improved to 2-0 with a solid win at Suffield Academy in a game led by tough, on-ball defense that limited the Tigers' shot quality right from the start.  Also, the Black and Gold had some much improved off-ball movement on offense that made for 16 assisted goals of the 19. Fourteen different players figured in the Westminster scoring effort while Tim Lyons '12 and Alec Dunn '13 helped secure many strong possessions with clears from the D end.  Max Langlois '13, Pierce Cote '14, and Ben Shively '14 all stepped up defensively as well helping hold the hosts to 0 goals in the second half.  Will Gould '12 (game ball) had 7 GBs to lead both teams as Westminster out-GB'd SA 45-24.
