Martlets Have Impressive Game

The Third Boys' Soccer team had a terrific 5-2 win against Loomis Chaffe on Saturday.  The first half was controlled by Westminster, but some defensive breakdowns led to a 2-2 tie at halftime.  The second half was a completely different story as Westminster dominated the play throughout the entire half.  Evan Yenor '13 did an outstanding job to control the midfield and was all over the field winning balls and distributing to his teammates.  Curtis Mackenzie '12 had a great game at forward as he outworked everybody on the field and created many chances at goal.  He is still working to find his first goal, but he created endless chances for his teammates.  John Vantine '13 had another solid game at forward as he was able to score 3 times.  Yenor and Ryan Mowery '13 also scored for Westminster.  Alastair Smith '13 continues to impress with his high energy play and leadership as he controls the defense.
