Disappointing Day For Martlets

The Martlets traveled to Loomis to hopefully build on the success of their previous game. This idea was short lived. Westminster started the game will six turnovers in the first 5 minutes. They also had a cold shooting afternoon. Loomis kept the pressure on, to go into the half up 31-10. The Martlets went on a 6 - 2 run, then reverted to uncharacteristic play. The defense that has been present all season was lacking as well. Though there was good effort by some players, it was not enough to compete against Loomis. The final score was 27 - 57. Westminster will have to regroup and double their efforts and get back to defense.
