Martlets Hold Off Saints

High scoring Canterbury paid a visit to the Martlets but the home team was up to the task. They had to play smart to be competitive, and that they did. The Marlets went up early 18 to 8 and stayed up. They came out with strong ball control and used their inside attack. Westminster went into the half up 30 to 23. Canterbury never stopped competing and closed the gap to 36 to 34 with 12:46 on the clock. The Martlets rallied with strong defensive pressure from Stephen Seymour '10 and took control of the game and the Martlets never looked back. Again Rafi Rojas '10 played well and had 19 points, followed by Matt Wilson '11 with 13 points.
