Deerfield Proves Unstoppable

The Martlets played their first away game at Deerfield Academy and were able to get on the score boards first to start the game 2-0. The Black and Gold were not able to convert on their next three offensive possessions, however, while Deefield made three 3-point shots. For the rest of the game, the Martlets could not stop the hot shooting of Deerfield, who ended the first half having made eight  3-pointers and earned the lead of 33 - 17.  Westminster made small runs but had no answer for Deerfield's offensive display. Greg Miller '10 led the Martlet offense with his second double double, 13 points and 11 rebounds.
