Westminster Rally Runs Out Of Time

Despite the loss, First Girls' Lacrosse showed courage and determination in their comeback against Deerfield.  The Big Green came out strong with a goal just 2 minutes into the game and another one soon followed.  DA had a powerful defense and goalie who only let in 3 in the first half.  After rallying during halftime, the girls came out strong with Caroline Moran '09 scoring the first goal, followed by 3 from Caroline Scott '09.  Liz Cole '09 also had a hat trick on the day. The Martlet defense also became a lot faster and stronger, and Gabby Christman '11 did a fine job taking control off the draws.  Westminster did not manage a win but showed aggression and determination.
