Greenwich Is Too Good In Season Opener

In their first game of the season, First Girl's Lacrosse succumbed to a tough squad from Greenwich but there were many bright spots for the Martlets during the fifty minutes of play.  There was great senior leadership both on the offensive and defensive ends.  Sara Reid '08, Alie Philip '09, and Emma Beck '08 played furious defense.  Kristen Maxwell '10 kept her head in the game in goal and finished with an impressive second half.  Caroline Moran '09 with two goals and Caroline Scott '09 with one goal played heads up lacrosse from beginning to end.  The Third Formers were inexhaustible and never stopped working hard.  This squad gave 100% for the entire game and left the field at the end proud of the game that they played.
