Westminster Ties Hotchkiss

Westminster battled a very tough Hotchkiss team this afternoon. The Hotchkiss Bearcats jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first period. Ben Smith '06 scored for Westminster (assists from Jon Wolter '06 and Jay Saraceno '07) midway through the second period to cut the lead in half.

The third period was a great one. The Martlets kept battling. Saraceno scored 3 goals (assists from Smith, Nick Pitsikoulis '07 twice and Smith and Wolter on the third); the last goal was netted with 41 seconds left in the game to force the game in overtime. The game ended in a hard fought tie.
