Westminster and Northfield Mount Herman tie 0-0

Westminster and Northfield Mount Herman battled to a 0-0 tie in a well played, intense Division One hockey game at Northfield Mount Herman. Westminster controlled much of the play in the first two periods but was stopped again and again by the fine play of the Northfield goalie.

Bryce Shattie '06 played solid hockey in the first two periods and then was outstanding in the third period, stopping many close in shots, as Northfield controlled the play for most of the period.

The overtime featured numerous scoring opportunities for both teams but once again both goalies made the big saves. Westminster continues the season away from home when they travel to Choate Rosemary Hall for a Founder’s League game on Wednesday.
