Martlets Defeat Tigers

The Martlets were excited to be back on Harrison Field after a long stretch of away games. Alex Musser '26 was the offensive spark we needed, scoring three of our first four goals and adding one late to help seal the victory. Overall, though, it was our team play that really stood out, ten of our twelve goals on the day were assisted. Nine of them from junior standout Kate Epke '27, who showed awesome patience and excellent footwork while finding the open cutters. All of this was bolstered by amazing team defense, we were aggressive on the ball and covered the cutters off ball, limiting a strong Suffield squad to just four goals on the day. All of that, and the biggest cheer of the day came when Charlotte Evanko '29 got a goal late in the game on her birthday! We look forward to hosting Ethel Walker on Friday at 5:30pm and celebrating our amazing group of seniors.
