Martlets Fall to Rhinos

The Martlets demonstrated resilience in their recent matchup against Taft, maintaining a high work ethic despite giving up an early lead. The offense was anchored by Gigi Filippetti ’26, who netted two goals, and Kate Epke ’17, whose three assists provided great scoring opportunities. Defensively, Joanna Halle ’29 anchored the second half with several excellent point-blank saves, while Alex Musser ’26, Ava Aponte ’28, Charlotte Reece ’28, and Lily O’Callaghan ’28 all contributed to the scoresheet. The team now travels to Deerfield Academy this weekend for the LBC Bowl at 2:30 pm, an annual game honoring the legacy of beloved teacher and coach Lindsay Bugbee Crosby.
