Martlets Fall in Tri-Match

Under sunny skies, but with a howling wind, the Martlet girl golfers headed to Tumblebrook CC to take on powerful teams from Loomis and GA. Unfortunately, things didn’t go that well for the girls, but they are learning how to keep their composure and avoid being intimidated by highly skilled opponents. The highlight of the day was Bea duPont ‘29 playing in her first career match and taking both of her opponents down to the wire with 1 Down losses on the final hole. The Martlets look forward to their opening home match next Wednesday at Hop Meadow CC.
