Martlets Split Tri-Meet

This weekend Westminster swimming/diving celebrated our senior swimmers in fantastic fashion on the pool deck in our last 2026 season home meet against K.O. and Walkers’. We were lucky enough to celebrate four incredible seniors who have each dedicated four years to our swim program and have served a great term as captain for this year's season. Congratulations to John Dwyer, Sunshine Li, Will Larock, and Jennifer Weber for four years of hard work and dedication. A special shout out to our manager Niraj Prakash for his service this year as well.

The Boys’ meet kicked off with a great relay against K.O. The team of John Dwyer ‘26, Will Larock ‘26, Dylan Park ‘29 and Ben Yu ‘27 won the secured first place for the medley relay. Individual event winners included John Dwyer in the 100 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke - continuing an undefeated season with a remarkable senior night. Will Larock also had a terrific night scoring second place in the 100 Freestyle and 3rd in the 200 Freestyle. A highlight of the meet was watching our manager, Niraj Prakash ‘26 make his debut swim in the 200 Freestyle relay with other teammates John Dwyer, Will Larock, and Long Vu ‘28. Very fun to watch and congratulations to all!

The Girls’ had an equally strong meet, battling both Walkers’ and K.O. Susan Wang ‘29 was a dual event winner in the 100 Breaststroke and the 200 Freestyle. Jennifer Weber had a strong senior meet accomplishing second place in the 200 IM and a bronze in the 50 Freestyle. Sunshine Li also scored a bronze in the 200 IM, finishing right behind Weber. The 200 Freestyle relay team composed of Sunshine Li, Susan Wang, Jennifer Weber, and Cameron Perillo ‘28 also gave a great effort in a very close race against Walkers’, accomplishing second in this event. Congratulations to all swimmers!
