Martlets Fall to Wyverns

The Martlets arrived ready to battle as they took on the Wyverns on their home court. From the tip off, the Martlets brought intensity on defense, protecting the paint, crashing the boards, and winning rebounds on both ends of the floor. Every possession was contested, and neither team could break through early, leaving the scoreboard locked at 0s at the end of the first quarter.
In the second quarter, the offense began to find a rhythm. Natalie House got us on the board, and Katherine Lopriore added two strong buckets to push the score to 6–8 heading into halftime. The second half proved challenging offensively, as the shots just wouldn’t drop despite solid looks and strong effort. The Martlets never stopped competing. The defense remained the highlight of the game, with standout performances from Morgan McQueeney and Coslyn Bardy.
