Martlets Shutout Kent

The Martlets came out strong in our first match back in the new year. The team won all matches in consecutive 3 games, and no games that were closer than 11-8. Lucy Morton ‘26, Wynne Pritchett ‘28 and Fatima Al Abood ‘28 got the Martlets off to a flying start with their quick and efficient 3 game wins, dropping 14, 13 and 16 points at #2,4,6 respectively. Lilly McMillen ‘27 sealed the overall win for the Martlets with her quick 3,6,4 win at #7. Luna Yang ‘26 and Clover Cooper ‘26 continued the Martlet momentum at #5 and #1, each dropping the minimum allowed 9 points total on the day! Finally, Saleha Rahimi ‘27 closed out proceedings with another efficient 3 game win. Clara Covill ‘26 gets a special shoutout for playing not one, but two exhibition matches and dropping 8 points total in her two matches. It was a great way to kick off 2026 and a busy next few weeks. The Martlets will return to Kohn Squash Pavillion on Friday when we take on Kingswood Oxford at 4:30pm.
