Martlets Fall on the Road

Westminster hit the road Wednesday afternoon to take on Founders League opponent, Choate. The Martlets struggled to find its footing, falling 6-0 in a disappointing outing for the Martlets. Choate set the tone early and maintained control throughout the game, scoring two goals in each period and consistently pressuring the Westminster defense. Despite moments of effort and flashes of compete from the Martlets, they were unable to generate sustained offensive chances or slow Choate’s balanced attack. Westminster battled through all three periods, but making it a tough loss and a game the Martlets will look to learn from moving forward. The Martlets hit the road again on Saturday as they take on NMH.

Our Grit & Grace player of the game is Junior Naomi Flom! Naomi consistently fought hard for the Martlets, giving the team some momentum when they needed it most.
