Martlets Compete at Canterbury
The Martlets sprinted off to a fantastic first season invitational this Saturday. Seven Martlet’s competed against eight other large schools to demonstrate the best of grit and grace on the course. Our top finisher was Sophia Lazor ‘27 who placed an impressive 11th place out of 48 runners in a fantastic time of 22:14. Second finisher for the Martlet’s was Sunshine Li ‘26, placing top 30 in a time of 25:19. Sofia Eleuteri ‘28 was not too far behind Li finishing 31st in a time of 25:36. Anna Klapman ‘26 and Avery Gray ‘26 ran a terrific race together, working as teammates to take the two spots next to each other finishing in 27:02 and 27:05 respectively. Kathrine Lopriore ‘29 completed her first big invitational for the Martlets, wrapping up the day in a great time of 27:19. Congratulations to all these girls!
The Martlet’s will return at home (in the first time in years) for the RMI.
