Martlets Fall to Suffield

It was a long afternoon at Suffield for the 3rds Girls’ Soccer team. Down 4-0 at the half, the martlets came out and quickly gave up their 5th goal. However they fought hard for the remainder of the half, but were never able to mount a comeback against the speed and ferocity of the tigers. The team is in the process of building and learning some game skills that will help them to succeed in the future. Notable newcomers who demonstrated early season growth included Catherine Hogan ‘29, Angelina Mertz ‘29, Alisa Yoshino ‘28, Julia Agyeman ‘28, and Elena Abud ‘28. Lilly McMillen ‘27 should also be commended for stepping into goal as the keeper for the first time in her soccer career!
