Martlets Sweep Meet

The Westminster Men walked away with victories against Wilbraham & Monson and the Eaglebrook School on Saturday. The Martlets started with the boys taking first place in the 200 Medley Relay with the winning team comprised of Ben Yu ’28, Reggie Kanu ’25, John Dwyer ‘26 and Will Larock ’26.  The success continued with John Dwyer ’26 and Matt O’Connell ‘ 25 placing first and fifth in the 200 free. Will Larock ’26 placed second in the 200 IM. Reggie Kanu ’25, Benjamin Yu ’28 and Filip Tomic ’25 placed first, third and sixth in the 50 free. Sam Hyde ’25 and Will Larock ’26 placed first and third in the 100 fly. Reggie Kanu ’25 and Jesse Yang ’27 placed first and second in the 100 free while Filip Tomic ’25 placed fifth. John Dwyer ’26 won the 500 free. The Westminster 200 free relay team of Filip Tomic ’25, Matt O’Connell ’25, Sam Hyde ’25 and Jesse Yang ’27 took first place. Ben Yu ’28 placed second in the 100 back. Jesse Yang ’27 and Sam Hyde ’25 placed second and fifth in the 100 breaststroke.  The Marlets finished the meet placing first and third in the 400 free relay with the teams of Reggie Kanu ’25, John Dwyer ’26, Sam Hyde ’25 and Will Larock ’26 and the team of Filip Tomic ’25, Matt O’Connell ’25, Ben Yu ’28 and Jesse Yang ’27.
 
The Martlets are back in the pool on Wednesday facing Williston.
