Gritty Loss to a Good Hotchkiss Team

The Martlets played one of their better opponents Saturday night. Hotchkiss started the game hot with a host of three point makes from different players. The Martlets had to climb out of an early hole. Going into the half, Hotchkiss led by 15 points. However, the Martlets fought back and brought the game back within seven points with six minutes left. In the end, Hotchkiss made more plays down the stretch and picked up a win. Chris Robinson ‘20 led the Martlets with 24 points, 10 assists, seven rebounds, three steals and two blocks. Teddy Mangiarotti ’21 also had 16 points on the night. Gabe Charleston ’21 chipped in with a solid 14 points and eight rebounds. Joe Walsh ’20 and Owen Larson ’20 both continued to play stellar defense throughout the entire game. The Martlets look to bounce back against a good Salisbury team when they travel there Wednesday.
