Great Win on the Road
The Martlets traveled up to Deerfield, Mass., on a rainy afternoon for a 2:30 tipoff. The Martlets started the game on fire. The team shot 70% from the field in the first half. Teddy Mangiarotti '21 and Rafa Charfole '20 both couldn't miss from three-point land. The Martlets went by 25 in the first half. However, in the second half, Deerfield went on a run and turned up the energy on defense. At one point in the second half, the Martlets were only up by four late. Then, captain Chris Robinson '20 had a game-changing steal, which led to an and one monster slam to help seal the game. Robinson had 20, eight and seven on the night. Mangiarotti '21 had 20 points. Charfole had 15 and seven on the game. Jack Devlin '20, Joe Walsh '20, Kellen Seeley '22, Hunter Hoogkamp '21 and Wylie Clark '21 all played hard throughout the game. The Martlets take on Pomfret this Friday in the Millbrook Holiday Tournament.
