Martlets Have Strong Start on Parents Weekend

Westminster came out strong and scored 3 goals in the first 30 minutes of the first half to take a 3-0 lead into halftime. First goal of the game came from Godwin Asore '20 assisted by Xander Cardia '21. Only two minutes later the Martlets would go up 2-0 on a great in tight goal from Lawrence Taylor '23 assisted by John Picard '22. To round off the first half scoring Juan Jo Garibay '20 would knock home a crossing ball. The second half saw both teams get up and down the field for some opportunities. Canterbury would score in the 88th min off a crossing ball to an open player inside the 18 yard box. Parker Sinclair '23 would get the start in net and record 6 saves.
