A Beautiful Day for Golf

On a beautiful day for golf, First Boys' traveled to the very challenging Crumpin-Fox Club to take on Deerfield and Williston-Northampton. The boys played a solid round of 203, but this was not good enough to overcome the strong Deerfield squad on its home course. The final scores were Deerfield (200), Westminster (203) and WNS (207). Will Lodge '22 from Deerfield was the match medalist with an outstanding round of 34 (-2). Justin Flaks '20 led the way for the Martlets with a 38, followed by strong rounds from Peyton Knauf '19 (39) and Ned Blanchard '20 (39). Other Westminster scores included Bennett Ostern '21 (42), Newt Cutler '22 (45) and Vincent von Nordeck '21 (45).
