Martlets Fly South

On a crisp and bright spring afternoon, the Martlets headed to Greenwich to face off against the Brunswick Bruins. With grit and grace, the boys walked onto the field ready to take on a tough opponent with a big reputation, and they kept the Bruins honest throughout the game. Willie Noble’s ’20 hat trick and Wick Carter’s ’19 outstanding defensive efforts stood out among many highlights of the game, but most important of all would be Teddy Schellbach ’20 stepping between the pipes for a turn at goalie. At the end of the day, the boys of Seconds Lacrosse gave their all, and will be fierce on the field in practice as the team look towards Berkshire on Wednesday.
