A Rare Tie Game

With blustery winds impacting play, First Boys' Golf took on Kent, Kingswood-Oxford and Loomis-Chaffee at Simsbury Farms. In a golf rarity, Westminster and Loomis finished in a tie at 206, followed by Kent (226) and K-O (233). Chase Thompson (Loomis) earned match medalist honors with a round of 39 (+3). For Westminster, Peyton Knauf '19 and Cam Scott '18 both shot 40 to lead the team. Other Westminster scores included Grant Noble '18 (41), Justin Flaks '20 (42), Ned Blanchard '20 (43) and Peter Sanger '21 (46). The victories improve the team record to 8-1-1.
