Martlets Drop Game to Bearcats

The Martlets were excited to defend their home court and came out strong, holding the Bearcats to just two points in the opening quarter. Piper Lundin knocked down a shot to keep things even early. The Bearcats found their rhythm in the second quarter, adding six points and gaining momentum. Despite battling hard, the Martlets ran into a tough second-half shooting slump against the Bearcats’ size, strong defense, and dominance on the boards. The final score landed at 6–30, but the Martlets never stopped competing and fought until the final buzzer.
