Martlets Shutout by Berkshire

The Martlets traveled to Berkshire for the first time in many years today to take on a well-trained squad. While no single Black and Gold player was able to garner a game, especially strong performances were put in by Crosby Cutler ‘27, Andrew Ma ‘27, and Will Henry ‘26. Cutler won points with a series of drop shots, but was pushed deep into the corners. Ma faced a power hitter and earned the most points on the day, trying to win points in the front left corner. Henry, while not scoring the most points, had the most competitive exchanges. His backhand volley drop is accurate and dangerous. The team was happy to be back on the road before the snow got too heavy and while there was still some daylight to enjoy the winter scenes.
