Martlets Split Match

The girls traveled to Watertown CC for a match with a Taft and K-O. The weather conditions were very challenging, with wind chill temperatures in the high 20s. The girls survived the brutal winds and came away with a victory over K-O, but fell to a powerful squad from Taft. At #1 Cindion Huang ‘25 had a thrilling match with her K-O opponent, which went all nine holes and ended up all square. Lucy Wainwright ’25 at #2 beat her K-O opponent 5&3 and played strong golf after a bumpy start, and Elise Park ‘25 at #3 had a strong 3&2 win. The girls look forward to the chance to play in temperatures that don’t require five layers of clothing!
