Martlets Split Tri-Match

The Martlet girl golfers traveled to the difficult Gillette Ridge GC to take on Loomis and K-O. The conditions were quite challenging, with temperatures in the 40s and strong winds. The highlight of the day was #4 Bea duPont ‘29 shooting the low Westminster score of the day (50) to come away with victories over both her Loomis (1 Up) and K-O (2&1) opponents. Both #1 Catherine Knauf ‘27 and #2 Grace Li ‘26 also came away with victories over their K-O opponents, and #5 Teagan Lynch ‘27 worked hard to finish in a tie versus K-O to round out the scoring in the varsity match. Piper Chaisson ‘27 also played well in the exhibition match, beating K-O and finishing tied with Loomis. The girls are back on the road Saturday to take on Hotchkiss and Kent at the Hotchkiss GC.
