Martlets Fall to Walker's

The parents weekend crowd at Ethel Walker was thrilled with their play, but the visiting team of Westminster’s Third Girls’ did not have their best game. Within the first three minutes the team found themselves down 3-0 and were never able to mount a comeback. Credit should be given to the team as they kept Walkers off the board for the next 20 minutes, but right before the half they were able to post two goals. Several players continued to make progress and showed both pride and tenacity during the rout. These players include Susan Wang ‘29, Ilana Mezheritskiy ‘27, and Alisa Yoshino ‘28 who spent time both as a keeper and on defense.
