Martlets and Pride Tie

The Martlets ended the match in a 1–1 tie against Trinity-Pawling after what may have been their best 45 minutes of soccer this season. A stunning strike from Chace M. ’27 gave Westminster a well-deserved lead at halftime, as the boys completely controlled the first half.
Unfortunately, a different story unfolded after the break. Trinity-Pawling found life in the second half, capitalizing on a free kick with a well-placed header at the back post midway through the half. Despite several promising chances, the Martlets were wasteful in front of the goal and couldn’t find the finishing touch to reclaim the lead.
Plenty of lessons to take away from this result as the boys extend their unbeaten streak to four matches. Next up — a trip to AOF and what promises to be a tough challenge in a hostile environment. No room for error as the season enters its crucial stretch!
