Martlets Fall to Pelicans

On a warm Saturday afternoon at Hovey Field, Westminster faced a tough challenge against a strong Loomis squad, ultimately falling 6-1. Loomis took control early, capitalizing on quick offensive transitions and building a commanding lead that Westminster struggled to overcome. Despite the lopsided score, the Martlets showed flashes of resilience and grit, highlighted by a beautifully executed goal from Stella Spitz ’26 off an offensive corner, Westminster’s lone score of the day. While it wasn’t the Martlets' day, Westminster hopes to use this experience to help them moving forward. The Martlet’s continue their home stretch, playing Hotchkiss Wednesday at home.

Our Grit & Grace player of the game is sophomore Ruby Robertson! Ruby’s effort and compete level lead the way for the Martlets!
