Martlets Fall to Williston

Westminster  fell 15–5 to Williston despite having a strong start to the game. The score remained close early on, with the team trailing just 4–2 at the end of the first quarter. By halftime, the gap widened slightly to 8–4. The opposition extended their lead in the second half, with the game finishing at 15–5.
Offensively, Alex Muster ‘26 led the team with a hat trick, netting three of the team’s five goals. Liza Merril ‘25 and Gigi Filippetti ‘26 each added a goal. Gigi and Kate Epke ‘27 both dished out an assist. 
Defensively, Parker Perillo ‘26 was a force, causing two turnovers, while Charlotte Radin added one caused turnover and made numerous key saves to keep the team in the game. Lily Vincent ‘25 lead the team with ground balls. 
The team will look to bounce back in their next matchup against Kent.
