Martlets Compete at Quad Meet

The Martlets traveled to Loomis Chaffee to compete in a tri-meet with the host school, Kingswood Oxford. Energized by the weather, the squad came ready to compete. The day got underway with Hannah Batoh ‘28, in her debut meet, securing a fifth-place finish in the discus, and Ellie Mallett ‘28 finishing fifth in the javelin. On the track, captain Adrienne Hall ‘25 won the 200m dash and finished second in the 400m dash, Gianna Monaco ‘27 finished fourth in the 100m dash, Chloe Champoux ‘28 finished second in the 800m run and fifth in the 1500m run, and Sofia Eleuteri ‘28 finished fifth in the 3000m run. Overall, the girls worked hard and supported each other. Next Wednesday, the team travels to Avon Old Farms to compete against Miss Porter's. After a good week of practice, they will be ready to improve on the marks they set at Loomis.
